We do not collect, store, or sell any personal information. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or advertising of any kind. We do not log your IP address or browsing behaviour.
What the Site Does
This site fetches publicly available news headlines from GDELT and Google News RSS feeds every 10 minutes. An AI model (Meta Llama 3.1 via Cloudflare Workers AI) classifies the current status of the Strait of Hormuz based on those headlines. The result is cached and served as a JSON API. No user data is involved in this process.
Third-Party Services
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and the backend runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process connection metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of routing and DDoS protection under their own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy. Chart.js is loaded from jsDelivr CDN. News data is sourced from GDELT (gdeltproject.org) and Google News RSS — both public feeds.
